Working together with architects

We work in partnership with many architects, bringing our practical and manufacturing skills to help bring their designs to fruition. We go to great lengths to ensure that you find working with us to be a smooth, efficient and professional experience. Our engineers and developers are always available to support and address your needs and provide expert advice on ways to solve your design and structural issues, and each architectural creation is bespoke to suit the demands and requirements of your specific project.

Staircases, balustrades and balconies are our speciality. We know what producing and installing these types of projects involves, and we work hard to ensure your project suffers no delays. With substantial experience of design and fabrication we can help you realise your vision We are happy to be involved at an early stage to discuss how best to fulfil that vision, and that of your clients, in a cost effective way. We also offer honest advice, without losing sight of the design or your budget.

If required, we can produce detailed 2D & 3D CAD drawings, models and CGI’s to incorporate into your designs and discuss with your client.? Alternatively we can advise you on the best way of achieving your plans. We can often suggest ways of improving or economising on manufacture or easing installation. Your product will be manufactured from a 3D CAD model, utilising CAM techniques where possible to ensure any chance of errors is minimised.

We can of course also provide structural calculations for both metalwork and glass for Building Control submission, and are happy to advise on other issues and assist with the preparation of contract documents and specifications if needed.

With a detailed knowledge of a wide range of materials and finishes we are always ready to offer expert advice on alternatives and make positive suggestions to enhance your project.

Manufacture

We have an extensive capability working with all types of metalwork, glass and structural glazing to produce sound and safe structures to your specification, enhancing your reputation. We also have tried and tested specialist subcontractors working in wood, stone and other materials to enable us to deliver a complete project if required.

Installation

We’ll do everything we can to ensure your systems are delivered and fitted when we promise. The same team that fabricates your designs will install them on site if required. We work well with other contractors and have a reputation for clean, efficient and cooperative service.

You can involve Elysion at any stage. We can provide practical advice based on drawings and designs that you already have. Alternatively, we can provide complete design input and full CAD drawings to help you plan and bring a project to fruition.

If your project needs technical competence and a totally unique piece as a design feature or a structural component, we will help you find the solution and we will strive to make best use of your budget, whilst fulfilling your contractual commitments.

Early involvement will often help with planning, and assist in keeping costs to a minimum, ?but we also have a useful track record of coming up with solutions to those inevitable situations when unforeseen problems have arisen, and a speedy responsive solution is needed.

With our knowledge of the structural application of metalwork and glass, we can supply all the necessary calculations and assurances for building control. Post contract we are happy to issue all appropriate documentation, drawings and operation and maintenance manuals for inclusion in the project file.

Our fully trained versatile craftsmen have a wealth of experience in all aspects of fabricating these metals and other materials. Using well-tried specialist subcontractors, we regularly incorporate softwoods, hardwoods, tiles and stone into our projects.

Installation

Where required, our work is manufactured and installed by the same team that manufactured it, so they know precisely what they are doing, and understand every detail and the desired end result. All work is of course completed in accordance with appropriate Method Statements and Risk Assesments.

Our teams are experienced and resourceful and have a reputation for being quick, safe, flexible and thorough.

Enquiries for new build projects are most welcome and we are pleased to undertake refurbishment, repair and restoration work, of all types and sizes should you require this, and we are happy to work on a supply only basis should you wish installation to be completed by your building contractor.

We can visit your home or site and then produce detailed 2D & 3D CAD drawings and CGI?s to show you precisely how your project will look when completed, and ensure that we have interpreted your requirements correctly. This then allows the designs to be modified if necessary before we begin manufacture.

We work with Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, Aluminium, Brass, Bronze, & Copper. Glass and Structural Glazing can also be incorporated into your project, and either using our own trusted suppliers or your preferred subcontractors, we can include fine hardwoods, softwoods, stone, or most other common materials and finishes into the work.

Your product will be manufactured from a 3D CAD model, utilising Computer aided manufacturing techniques where possible to ensure any chance of errors is minimised. You will always be welcome to see your project under construction.

Installation

Where required, your work is manufactured and installed by the same team that manufactured it, so they know precisely what they are doing, and understand every detail. ?Our craftsmen have a reputation for clean and efficient flexible working and we always endeavour to leave a site in pristine condition.
