Due to continued growth we are looking for the following enthusiastic & reliable personnel to strengthen the small friendly team in our Wirksworth office and workshop.

Part time Project / Admin Assistant.

20-30 hours a week - flexible by arrangement.

The role:  

  • Upkeep of small sales/purchase ledger. (QuickBooks)
  • Sourcing & purchase of materials, components & consumables.
  • Dealing with enquiries and general office management.
  • Assist in preparation of quotations and material lists.

The person:

  • You will be computer literate (Word / Excel etc.), numerate & organised.
  • You will have good communication & interpersonal skills with a mature, outgoing personality.
  • Ideally you will have an engineering or architectural background, but full training will be given.

Welder/Fabricator.   Full time position, Normal hours.

The role:

  • Workshop based.
  • Involvement in all aspects of preparation, assembly and welding.
  • Wide variety of fabrication types and materials.
  • Input into the design & manufacturing process on one off's. 

The person:

  • You can work from drawings with minimal supervision, & on your own initiative.
  • You are methodical & take pride in the high standards of your workmanship.
  • You enjoy variety, have an eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • You have followed an apprenticeship, or have considerable experience.
  • You possess a good knowledge of fabrication and welding processes in varied materials.
  • You are fully experienced in TIG and MIG welding on Mild and Stainless Steel

CAD Technician Full or part time.

The role:

  • Production of arrangement drawings and fabrication details from design brief's & / or site surveys.
  • Preparation of materials / components lists.
  • Liaison with Clients, Consultants, other trades and suppliers.

The person :

  • You will be skilled with 2D AutoCAD.
  • You are experienced in all aspects of secondary steelwork detailing.
  • You appreciate good modern design, attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • You possess a working knowledge of fabrication and welding processes & possibilities.

To be considered for any of the positions you will also need to be organised, self motivated, versatile and adaptable.
