     Glass BalustradeFor a truly stunning alternative to traditional balustrade to your stairs, landings, balconies and decks, a glass balustrade will add sophistication to any room or space. Both modern and traditional homes are increasingly incorporating glass balustrade systems into their design and refurbishment schemes for all the right reasons. Glass balustrades provide large amounts of extra light and can open up an area, as well as being unobtrusive to give you great views. They can either be flat or curved, level, sloping or stepped. Used externally glass balustrade make excellent wind breaks on a balcony or roof top and work especially well around a pool or decked area. Elysion’s glass balustrades are of course manufactured from toughened glass and comply with all British building regulations and requirements. Glass balustrade systems can either be framed with stainless steel or powder coated steel post and rail systems, or totally frameless structural glass for that seamless look, and we will work with you to tailor them to you suit your plans and budget. Your new glass balustrades can be supplied tinted, coloured, frosted or sandblasted with a design of your choice. There are many methods we can use to fix your glass balustrades. Post and rail infill panels are normally secured using patch type glass clamps, or bosses on the face of the posts, whereas structural glass can either be face fixed at floor level with point fixings or offset bosses, or fitted into exposed or recessed base channels and clamping systems, often with secret fixings, and we are always happy to advise you on the most suitable choice for your project.
